Course Reserves

Faculty members may place materials on reserve in the library for use by students in their classes. Materials must stay in the library and may be checked out for 2 hour loan periods.

To place materials on reserve please submit a completed reserve form and allow two days for processing.

The following restrictions apply:

A maximum of 3 copies of a required reading will be placed in reserve.
Only one copy of suggested reading that is not owned by the library or available online will be placed on reserve.
Materials available to students online will not be placed on reserve in paper form.
Copyrighted materials may be placed on reserve for a maximum of one semester only.

Please note that personal items placed on reserve are subject to library markings, such as barcodes, security sensors, and colored tape.



Resource Instruction

Librarians are available to give individualized and group instruction on information resources to both faculty and students. If you would like to set up an appointment to receive resource instruction or to schedule instruction for your class, please contact the library.



Department Liaisons

Each academic department has a library liaison, a librarian who works with you to provide the materials and services specific to each department's subject areas. Please feel free to contact your library liaison at any time.
